Introduction :-
The APPSC has introduced a new form for all direct examinations
conducted by the Commission and the application can be had at the time of
advertisement on payment of a requisite fee.
How to Apply :-
Qualified applicants can apply for the notified selection only in the
application form prescribed by the commission.
Tips to Applicants :-

Application needs to be send only
in response to notifications published by the commission

Application needs to be submitted
in the prescribed form only

Any column of the application
should not be left unfilled. Incomplete application will be rejected.

Age for selection will be
calculated as notified. In the upper age limit, relaxation of 5 years in the
case of SC/ST Candidates and 3 years in the case of OBC candidates is allowed
-
Make sure that the prescribed
qualification and experience is acquired on or before the last date stipulated
for the receipt of the application.

Proper signature needs to be put
in the space provided. Unsigned application will be summarily rejected.

Any document or copies of
certificates or self-addressed envelopes needs to be enclosed along with the
application if asked for.

Applications should be sent only
in the address given in the notification.

Applications received after the
last date will be summarily rejected.
Documents to be attached
:-
Documents like CBSE matriculation & higher secondary certificates, graduation
certificate, experience certificate etc are required to be submitted along with
the application if asked for. The applicants are required to pay the requisite examination
fee as fixed by the Commission in the form of a Treasury Challan in favour of
the Secretary, APPSC, Itanagar under the Head of Account 0051-PSC.
Application by Govt. Servants :-
A Govt. servant can apply direct to
the Commission on intimation to his/her department
for applying various post as per advertised by the Commission or submit his/her
application through the Head of the Office in which he works at the time of
making the application.
Warning to Candidates :-
Candidates who are found guilty of
the following items of misconduct are liable to be disqualified for being
considered for a particular post or debarment from applying to the Commission
either permanently or for any period or the invalidation of their answer scripts
in a written test or the initiations of criminal or other
proceedings against them or their removal or dismissal from office or the
ordering of any other disciplinary action against them if they have been
appointed on or any one or more of the above.
(i) Any attempt by or on behalf of candidates applying for selection by the
Commission to influence the Chairman or any Member of the Commission or the
Experts or Examiners who assist the Commission or to canvass support for their
selection.
(ii) Any attempt to influence the staff of the Office of the Commission to do
any undue favour to them or to divulge any information which is to be kept
secret until it is officially released under the Orders of the Commission.
(iii) Making of any false statement in the application form or any document
produced in connection, with selection or suppression of any material fact
relevant to the selection from the Commission.
(iv) Production of any false or tampered document before the Commission or the
tempering with any document produced before the Commission in connection with a
selection after their production.
(v) Any attempt to prefer any false complaint before the Commission about a
rival candidate in a selection.
(vi) Making any false allegation against the Chairman or any other Member of the
Commission or any Expert or Examiner who assist the Commission or any Member of
the staff of the Commission in connection with a selection.
(vii) Any improper behaviour in connection with any interview or examination
held by the Commission.
(viii) Tampering with any answer book in an examination conducted by the
Commission or writing, anything in such answer book in any manner which in the
opinion of the Commission would lead to the identification of the candidate
against the instructions contained in the answer book.
(ix) Any other conduct which in the opinion of the Commission, is likely to
affect the fair and just selection of candidates by the Commission.
